John Hekmati · Founder
John Hekmati architects learning systems where depth beats volume. The Cognition Factory exists because most organizations confuse content delivery with cognition — and HAL-E was built to close that gap.
A systems thinker at the intersection of cognitive science and operational rigor, John designed HAL-E as a schema-first engine: map the domain, teach it back, spar until understanding sticks. AAE followed as the assessment layer — exam-grade fidelity without sacrificing architectural integrity.
The positioning is deliberate: not more content. Better architecture. One engine, many cartridges — built for the solo learner who wants ownership, and scaled for organizations that demand measurable expertise.
